レベッカ先生より
My name is Rebecca and I am the newest teacher at Y's preschool.
I arrived from Australia just over a week ago and am enjoying my time in Japan very much.
I was amazed when I first arrived at all the student's ability to speak English so well. All the students are cheerful and friendly and love to use their English when speaking to me.
Today again we started our morning with the hello song, which all the
students joined in. This is a great way to get the students listening and
ready to start the day. Today the students asked teachers the question "how are you today?", which all the students enjoyed.
In rompers, today we did vocabulary on classroom items that the students have received this year. Pencils, crayons, scissors etc. As well as items in the classroom that students use everyday and where things are kept.
We revised our "A"and "B" words for the week which they are finding easy now.
So I am very excited to be working with all the children and I am looking
forward to helping them continue to increase their English skills.
